Medical care here is second to none but the appointments system is just ridiculous! After attending for an MRI scan on 10Dec I presented myself at the surgery on 12 Dec to book an appointment to receive the results from my GP. Easy enough you might say to yourself but this is where it gets ridiculous ... I was offered an appointment for 29th December !!! I said I wanted to see my GP earlier than that but was informed there were no "Pre bookable appointments". I was also informed that if I attended surgery on the day my GP was in I would be able to get an appointment that day. But I said " I am here now in front of you, can I have an earlier appointment please ?" The receptionist then repeated that there were no "Pre bookable appointments ". Marvellous. The receptionist then asked if I had access to the Internet. I said I did and she said if I registered I could book an appointment online ! I managed to get an appointment online to see my GP on Tuesday 16th Dec. Why oh why couldn't I get that same appointment when I presented myself at the same surgery on Friday 12 Dec ??? Absolutely ridiculous !!!

Both my husband and I are very pleased with that drs and staff here hallways help full at any time . That are the best drs we have ever had. And will recommend them .

When you ring for blood tests results, the member of staff is unable to give you an indication of the problem when they advise you that you need to see the doctor - this can be alarming when you are unable to see a doctor straight away. There is a particular doctor that I like at this surgery and to obtain a pre-bookable appointment I had to wait two weeks. I turned up the surgery two weeks later well in time for my appointment, checked in through the self-service system and the system indicated that my appointment was running on time. 30 minutes later, I checked with the reception staff who informed that my doctor was on call that day and there were still further people to see the doctor before me. I said that the self- service system indicated no delay - the response was that I should not take any notice of that as the information is not accurate - why display it then? I needed to be elsewhere by a certain time and could not wait - by this time it 40 minutes past my original appointment time. I was told that I would be recorded as 'walking out'! I was not happy with this - I understand that appointments can run late but I was unable to wait any longer - this terminology was inappropriate and was not a true reflection of the situation - is this on my notes now?

GREAT same-day appointment system! Hope this system never changes. Although reception staff are great - not keen, at all, on the lack of privacy when talking to them. Whole surgery can hear!

It is extremely easy to arrange appointments at our surgery. There have been several occasions when I called into the surgery at 8.30 am to see if it was possible to be seen by either a GP or Practice Nurse, and I have been seen that same morning. Very helpful staff and good doctors. I know that Dr Dias has retired from our practice, but he was an excellent Doctor.
